Why engage with us here?

This exciting online event is a great way for those interested in attending KAUST to learn more about the University and community. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with various departments on campus in real-time, listen to live sessions and ask questions regarding admissions into our graduate programs.

Who should attend this event?

Those interested in receiving their Masters or PhD in STEM should attend this event. We will have representatives from our teams to answer questions.

Do I need to log in?

Yes, this event offers attendees the opportunity to explore and engage with KAUST through a virtual platform, however, each participant will need to have an individual log in to access the event

What if I am unsure of the program I would like to study?

The KAUST Open House will allow attendees to explore the various options we offer to and prospective graduate students. This is an excellent opportunity to speak with various departments on campus to see how your academic interests align with those at KAUST!

Who will you get to engage with?

There will be representatives from various areas of KAUST. We encourage you to review the agenda listed on the landing page and visit the booth exhibition to check and download all materials needed.

How can I engage with KAUST representatives during this virtual event?

Attendees will have the option to join webinars, listen in on panel discussions and visit individual department booths. However, if you would like to speak one on one with a representative from a specific department, event guests are able to use the Chat feature to connect directly.

What is the availability of the content and representatives during the event?

As participants visit each booth, they will have the opportunity to view information, videos and webinar replays on their own time. We encourage participants to explore as many KAUST booths as possible during the event to make the most of their attendance. Chat with our SGRD team at our booth or the Info Desk.

I have encountered a technical issue while attending the event, who can I contact?

For all technical issues please visit the information desk within the event. If you are unable to select this option, please email si-admissions@kaust.edu.sa and a dedicated KAUST support staff will help you.

Can I still access information and material after the event?

Yes, event attendees will have the opportunity to email themselves the PDFs and materials they collect as they visit each booth.

Attendees will be welcomed to the event, as well as receive a KAUST overview before being invited to explore the various departments waiting for them in the Exhibit Hall.

During this session, participants will learn how faculty at KAUST are working to enable specific plants to thrive in a desert climate. Ideally the objective of this research is to help modify crop plants to increase yields in developing countries.
